Academics and Much More!
We are working on academics, along with becoming more independent learners. Routine is key! We are learning to use our time wisely! Time management and long term planning are critical skills for middle school. We are also learning how to communicate with other teachers about assignments and tasks instead of just the homeroom teacher!
Chromebooks and Google!
Google Classroom, and Google Docs can all be accessed from a home computer. The children just need to login to their Gmail. In the upper right hand corner is what we call the WAFFLE. If they click on that it will bring up the different google icons. There they can access the different classrooms, docs, or even slides!
Math Homework
You will have Math homework almost every night! If you are stuck, please do not go into Math Panic! Send me an email or come see me in the morning!
Mom and Dad might know what they are talking about - let them try to help you!
Spelling Homework
Monday - 3x each for the words you missed on the pretest.
Tuesday - ABC order
Wednesday - Sentences
Thursday - finish book work and study
